Crank calling John Moe

I went ahead and called John on the radio last night, and got hung up on real quickly.
When checking the Yahoo mail this morning, I received the following message from him on my Classmates message board:

Hey Jon,
Not sure if you'll get this message since it's coming through the Classmates.com site and I don't even know how that all works. Anyway, I found your live
journal blog and enjoyed it. Also, I was hosting a call-in show tonight on the radio and one of the callers sounded like you. Were you calling in under
the name Dennis from Capitol Hill? I hope you're doing well. Drop me a line some time if you like. I'm at johnmoe@hotmail.com.

Now it's seriously on.
I know he just reached out to me in a friendly gesture, but the damage has been done.
He's just curious about if that was actually me or not.

It started back in high school where he ratted on me for ripping down military recruiting posters.
He was one of those guys who would be really nice to your face, and then rip you behind your back.
He thought he was a big time actor after he was in a Washington State Lottery commercial in the 90's.
I just have a lot of unresolved tension with him, and find NPR a great way of releasing it.
Plus doing it on the radio is somewhat ego gratifying for me...a total win win!

The last time I saw him was 5 years ago at a mutual friends wedding

I think he's not 100% sure it's me since I used an alias, but he needs to know for sure so he's wanting me to shoot him an e mail to ease his worried mind.

What would mess with his mind is to email him back and say it wasn't you and ask him what the caller said. Then the next time you call in he'll be even more confused.
